Music and Time Annotation << Back Element of Humour in the Works of Elena Gokhman To 90th Anniversary A.I. Demchenko Composer Elena Gokhman is one of the most remarkable names of Saratov's artistic culture. Her large musical heritage stands out in particular because of its wide representation of various facets of laughter culture. The article gives a brief overview of the composer's work in this area and pays special attention to two works that are entirely devoted to this imagery: the Quintet-Bouffe for brass instruments and the operahumour The Rascals Won't Won't Won.
