Azerbaijani violin music of the 20th century is a complex phenomenon that combines many trends, artistic phenomena and writing techniques. Since the 1920s, several generations of composers have been searching for national music in this area. The compositions of large and small forms created by him are distinguished by their stylistic diversity, which fully corresponds to the general development of the national musical culture. Folklorism and neo-folklorism, neoclassicism, minimalism, twelve-tone technique, seriality, aleatoric, sonoristics, jazz and many other style trends and writing techniques are embodied in the works of composers. They contribute to the expansion of the figurative world, musical and performing means, updating the structural and typological features of various genres of violin music. With all the variety of artistic phenomena, there is a process of preserving national soil, which affects many components of the musical language, forms of compositions, and musical performance techniques.
