Music and Time Annotation << Back The Methodological Aspects of Teaching «Solfeggio» at the University D.E. Lokotyanova Music education is a complex multilevel system consisting of many interacting subsystems. Today, one of the vulnerabilities in the system of professional music education in Russia is the issue of coordination (continuity) between secondary and higher educational levels. Due to the lack of a solid professional inter-dialogue, sometimes illogicalities, ambiguities and even contradictions of different order arise in this intricate system. For example, practice shows that in many domestic universities, the future professional musician is often forced to repeat, consolidate the musical experience once acquired in a musical institution of the level of vocational education, and not to acquire and consolidate a new one. Similar incoherence can be observed at the level of the content of the curricula, including the example of the curriculum of the discipline "solfeggio". The article discusses various methodological aspects of teaching the discipline "Solfeggio" at the university on the material of music of the XX–XXI centuries, and also raises issues of coordinating educational and methodological programs in the system of professional music education.
