Music and Time Annotation << Back The Experience of Forming a Methodological Model of Professional Training of Saxophonists in Higher Educational Institutions in China Based on the Theory and Practice of Teaching the Art of Academic Saxophone Playing in Russia Wang Bojian The article describes the author's work on the formation of a methodological model for teaching the art of playing the saxophone in the classrooms of higher educational institutions of the People's Republic of China. The source of the model is the modern system of professional training of saxophonists in Russia. The author's rationale for the choice in favor of the nominal system is based on the results of his empirical study of the performing art of Russian saxophonists, which prove the high artistic value of their work. Analyzing methodological research on the issues of learning to play the saxophone in Russia and directly studying the practice of teaching performance on this instrument, the author consistently builds a multi-level methodological model intended for implementation in Chinese higher educational institutions and taking into account the specifics of the socio-cultural space of its application, and including the following objects: ideological basis, psychological and pedagogical conditions, the mode and format of pedagogical work, a hierarchized system of pedagogical tasks in the process of mastering the skill of playing the saxophone by a student.
