Music and Time Annotation << Back Secret meanings in the first song of Bayan M.I. Glinka N.V. Klimova The article presents the idea of hidden meanings and meanings in the musical and poetic texts of the First Song of Bayan. The origin of the image of Bayan as a character, connected by deep roots with East Slavic mythology, is examined and investigated. As a result of the observations, the personality of Bayan in the opera is perceived as a figure of the «superknowledge» carrier, not participating in the performance, but present by default. The article contains an attempt to identify and identify the “invisible” spiritual and semantic line of the performance, outlined by the composer and librettist in the First Song, to reveal the meaning of the «key» word associated with the appearance of the “rainbow gamma” in the orchestra. It is suggested that the meaning of «gamma of the rainbow» in the opera as «superthemes». In this regard, the article contains an analysis of the "gamma of the rainbow" in the First Song of the Bayan and the Story of the Head. The result of the analysis allows us to conclude about the «gamma of the rainbow» as a source of further thematic education in the opera, an independent thematic layer, opposed to the sphere of Chernomor.
