Music and Time Annotation << Back Choral Musical and Cultural Events in the System of Musical Culture of Belarus I.N. Lisouskaya The article is devoted to musical and cultural events of the Republic of Belarus (festivals, celebrations, forums) – active forms of spreading the choral heritage in the country, realizing the creative potential of choral groups, conductors and composers, making contacts between performers and audience. The author considers both specialized (exclusively choral) and universal (covering several types of art) musical and cultural events. Among them there are the International Festivals «Kolozhskiy blagovest», «Magutny Bozha», the International Forum of Student Choirs «Paparat Kvetka», the Republican Festival of National Cultures and others. The material is systematized according to their level and composition of participants (international, republican and regional). Particular attention is paid to the characterization of the substantive content of musical and cultural events and concert programs, musical and creative conditions for the participation of choral groups. The article also traces the significance of festivals, celebrations and forums in the musical and cultural life of the country.
