Music and Time Annotation << Back Choral Compositions by Nono of the 1980th Years: to a Problem of Nono's Late Style A.S. Ryzhinskiy Article is devoted to a style features of late Nono’s choral compositions. Author researches two works – «Das Atmende Klarsein» and «Io: Frammento dal Prometeo». This works are connected with the main Nono’s work of the 1980th years – «the tragedy of a hearing» «Prometeo». Author studies libretto, texture and timbre features of these compositions and comes to a conclusion about style continuity between late Nono’s works and his engaged opuses. The main conclusion – relationship of the textural organization in compositions of the 1980th years and choral works of the 1950–1970th years. At the same time the author researches new Nono’s acoustic concept in connection with resources of live electronics. On the example of late choral compositions ideas of fragmentary composition, Klangfarben-Übergang, a neutral sound, distinctive for «new» Nono, understand. Keywords: L. Nono, M.
