Music and Time Annotation << Back Process of Development of Saint Petersburg’s and Moscow’s Schools in Balalaika Performing Art I.V. Tyutin This article is dedicated to process of development professional balalaika performing art in Russia. During XX century and nowadays the largest schools of this genre is the Saint Petersburg and Moscow. The important creative activity of musicians in assist of balalaika’s performing discusses in context of Russian’s art culture. On the basis of archive historical documents, periodical publications, memories and letters is analyzed the main phases of develop sound character, repertoire and pedagogical principles in teaching to play the balalaika. In article is discusses the some features of musician’s creative thinking during their operations at new pieces and transcription of Russian’s and European music literature for the instrument. In the presented examples original of art’s questions, picturesque images, receptions of playing, impressive features in pieces for balalaika are come to light. Creative and pedagogical activity famous musicians from Saint Petersburg and Moscow assist to folk-instruments genre achieve one of the central positions in Russian music culture.
