Features of the Arpeggiation
on the Accordion at Work
on the Keyboard Music
of the Baroque Era |

The article is devoted to peculiarities of arpeggiation on the accordion in the music of the Baroque era. Considered the values
of this method in clavier playing, its different types, as well as a number of examples from clavier literature where arpeggiation
on the accordion has its own specifics. Unlike many aspects of working of an accordionist on the music of the Baroque era,
peculiarities of arpeggiation in clavier works to date have not been considered. The research concretized the meaning which bears
this method in terms of playing music on the accordion, interacting with a variety of compositional and performing means: pitch
and rhythmic structure, texture properties, the opportunity to give the performance of more emotional fullness and improvisation.
Since arpeggiation in clavier works of XVII–XVIII centuries is a significant component of musical speech, ability of an accordionist
to rethink this technique seems to play an important basis for the success working on the music of the Baroque era.
