Music and Time Annotation << Back On Expressivenessof the Pronunciation in Music M.I. Imkhanitskiy In the paper a new understanding of music articulation not as traditional interchange of connection and separation but as a system of correlations between accentuality and softness in musical pronunciation, by analogy with the articulation in verbal speech, is offered. The author emphasizes the necessity of strengthening of performers’ and teachers’ attention to relations of this kind in any active music. Key words: pronunciation, articulation, music diction.
