Music and Time Annotation << Back Michael Haydn’s Sacred Music and Salzburg Church Music of his Time Kovalenko T.S The article deals with the sacred music by Michael Haydn, Joseph Haydn’s younger brother, who spent much of his life in Salzburg. His masses and other compositions were quite typical of his epoch and reflected Salzburg church music traditions of 18th century.
