Music and Time Annotation << Back To the Problem of Genesys of Dramatical Symphonism in Russia in 19th Сentury Tyurina M.G. P.I. Tchaikovsky is considered to be the creator of lyrical and psychological type of symphony in the 19th century. Consenting to some authors who consider this type to be a result of Betthoven’s and West European romanticists’s symphonism development, the author shows that the roots of symphonism are also in early Russian classic works and gives a proof for definition of this type of symphony as “lyrical and dramatical”.
