Music and Time Annotation << Back Vladimir Dukelsky and Vernon Duke: two faces, one destiny Maximova A.S. The paper deals with V.A. Dukelsky (1903 – 1969) which is one of the prominent representative of Russian Abroad, composer, poet, publicist, who also wrote a “light-genre” music under the pseudonym Vernon Duke. The author makes an attempt to arrange his biography and introduces into research practice new English source – composer’s memoirs Passport to Paris (1955).
