Stanislav Krejci is an Extraordinary
Personality and a Multifaceted Composer,
the Author of Music for the ANS Synthesizer |
A.А. Rovner
Stanislav Antonovich Kreichi is one of the fi rst composers of electronic music in Russia. He composed music for the ANS synthesizer and was
a participant of the Moscow Electronic Music Studio at the Scriabin Museum in the 1960s and 1970s, after which he preserved the instrument,
took care of it, and popularized it, having been solely responsible for having saved it. In the history of Russian electronic music, Kreichi’s name
stands next to the names of Аlfred Schnittke, Edison Denisov, Sofi a Gubaidulina, Alexander Nemtin and Eduard Artemiev. Unfortunately, his own
music remains insuffi ciently known to the broad public. The present article presents the composer’s biography and a demonstration of his musical
heritage. Kreichi’s music is presented in all of its scope as being original, diverse in means and endowed with innovation, expression, as well as
theatrical, fi gurative and literary qualities. The conclusion is arrived at that in the future it will become more known to professional musicians and
the broad public.
