Music and Time Annotation << Back Special Military Operation and Musical Art B.G. Gnilov, G.A. Skhaplok The article examines one of the scientific problems of Russian musical pedagogy and musical art, namely the ability of music to effectively correlate with the needs of our armed forces in a special military operation, to promote the victory of the Russian army. The authors justifiably express skepticism towards the familiar and outwardly effective, but on closer examination superficial, feigned patriotism in the musical art. They prefer such musical samples, which, while not being "declaratively" patriotic, attract with high quality of compositional thought, lyrical penetration. Of great practical interest in terms of the topic raised is the idea put forward by the authors about the possibility of strengthening and peculiar sharpening of the psychological impact of musical compositions through a specifi c "stretching" of the parts presenting it. The work is seen as relevant and worthy of attention by both musicologists and a wider range of readers involved in optimizing the functioning of musical compositions in the interests of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation at the present stage, in the context of a special military operation.
