Music and Time Annotation << Back Play, my Bayan! On the 90th Anniversary of Vladislav Krivenko's Birthday S.I. Kuznetsova The name of Vladislav Dmitrievich Krivenko (04. 06. 1934–13. 06. 2015), the magnifi cent bayan player, chorus master and excellent music teacher was known not only in our country, but also abroad. In diffi cult times for the country in the late XX – early XXI centuries, the musician was a member of the board of the Public Organization "All-Russian Musical Society (Creative Union)" and for more than 20 years headed the Yaroslavl regional branch of this society. The musician's optimism and selfl ess activity, faith in the bright future of Russian culture, as well as a rare combination of musical talent and a delicate, sensitive attitude towards people attracted to him equally fellow musicians, future professionals, and music lovers. Therefore, today, when the need is especially great for such fi gures of national culture who are able to sow in society not only the beautiful, but also the bright, humane, we remember the name of Vladislav Dmitrievich with special warmth and gratitude.
