Music and Time Annotation << Back Unknown Manuscripts of N. Ozerov from the Library of the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God «The Sign» in Pereyaslavskaya Sloboda A.S. Stepanova The article was written for the 55th anniversary of the beginning of the regent activity of N. Ozerov in the church in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God "The Sign" in Pereyaslavskaya Sloboda and is devoted to the analysis of his previously unknown compositions found in the temple archive. N. Ozerov was one of the few regent composers who received professional musical education and did not leave his regency ministry even during the years of persecution of the Church. In the article, the author introduces readers to the composer's previously unknown scores, which have not left the walls of the temple for half a century, reveals the features of Ozerov's compositional writing, whose style features allow him to be counted among the followers of the New Direction, headed by A. Kastalsky. Fragments of manuscripts with inscriptions of the composer are given. Keywords: Church art; choral singing; N.
