Music and Time Annotation << Back A look at the Singing Breath in the Context of the Historical Development of the Ltalian, French and German Vocal Schools E.O. Andreyko The article is devoted to one of the main problems of vocal training – the work of breathing. The timbre and acoustic parameters of the voice are unique for each person, which makes each singer unique. However, the emergence and development of many vocal schools suggests that professional singers, in order to become such, work out not only the originality of the sound, but also follow specifi c methodological guidelines for voice production. The main issues of voice production are range expansion, flight and resonance, and, of course, breathing. A special place in the history of academic vocals is occupied by the Italian Bel Canto school, which allows you to sing evenly and equally sonorously throughout the entire range of the voice of a work of increased complexity.
