Jafarova This year, the life and creative path of this year’s birthday man, who is 75 years old, composer, laureate of the Aga Khan Music Aüards-2019 Music Prize, UNESCO Artist of the World, the orders of Glory and Honor, Professor Firangiz Alizade, reveals her role in the art of Azerbaijani music. A festival dedicated to the composer's work has started in Baku. The article discusses the timbre and textural features in the work of Firangiz Alizade "Dedication to Nasimi". It was in Baku in 2018 "Dedication to Nasimi" was created from the synthesis of "Dervish" and "Mugamsayaga". Dedicated to Nasimi, the composer turns to folk melodies and rhythms, our mughams and artistically updates them with modern expressive means. As a result, we clearly observe the freshness of the national color, the richness of improvisation, the modern development of mughams. In "Dedication to Nasimi" the composer combines vocals, choreography and poetry in the synthesis of classical and national instruments. rules dramaticallyand directors brought many good innovations to the work. The composer skillfully developed the image of Nasimi with a choreographic dance, a wellstructured composition and a well-chosen theme, clearly conveying thoughts and words to the audience. The synthesis of these trends is original in depth and drama. The image of Nasimi is bright and convincing. Timbre and texture, which are important elements in the author's thinking, are the most important element of the musical language.
