Music and Time Annotation << Back Lyric Soprano: Pedagogy and Repertoire 1600–1980 Ding Jiao The article discusses one of the sonorous and bright vocal voices – the lyrical soprano. The purpose of the article is to get acquainted with the repertoire of the lyrical soprano. As the analysis of literary sources showed, the repertoire of the lyrical soprano increased, the technique of performance changed depending on historical time. Conclusion: the lyrical soprano is the timbre of the voice, which can be used to perform many works, the performing art of the owners of this voice needs to be studied, since many complex works can be performed with this timbre.
