Mammadova The article is devoted to a new event, prepared for the 40th anniversary of the creation of the Secondary Special Musical School-Studio of the Baku Musical Academy named after Uzeir Hajibayli. The book – Formation and Innovation – consists of the several sections, which highlights the wide and versatile activities of the school-studio. The authors of the book are Sevda Mammadova, Ayten Ibragimova, scientific editors – Farhad Badalbeyli and Tarlan Seyidov. The publication starts with the articles in Azerbaijani and Russian languages by Farhad Badalbeyli. This is followed by an article by the founder and director of the school-studio Tarlan Seyidov. The photo gallery shows school-studio’s staff, graduates, students who are laureates of various international competitions, as well as scientific, organizational and concert activities of the school-studio. The next section is devoted to the Azerbaijani musical culture, directly related to the school-studio, as well as teachers and graduates of this school-studio. The next section of the publication reflects articles and reviews published on the press about the achievements of the school-studio over the past 10 years. A list of 49 methodological works of the school-studio is given in the “Applications/Appendices” section. The final section presents 272 lists of the literature about the school-studio, a list of scientific conferences, music festivals, competitions organized by the school-studio and also official documents of the BMA related to the activities of the school-studio.
