Music and Time Annotation << Back Piano Concerto on Arab Themes by F. Amirov and E. Nazirova in the Performing Interpretation of Farhad Badalbeyli M.N. Yusifova The presented article explores a piano concerto on Arab themes, co-authored by two prominent representatives of Azerbaijani musical culture – Fikret Amirov and Elmira Nazirova. The article contains both a general analysis of the form of the musical composition and a detailed analysis of the performing interpretation of the concert by Farhad Badalbeyli. Through the prism of Farhad Badalbeyli’s performing interpretation, the article reveals some important aspects, namely the infl uence of the artist’s creative personality on the fate of the musical composition and the influence of the performer’s composing experience on the process of working on the musical composition. Also noted some facts from the history of the emergence of the concert genre in Azerbaijani professional music and the prerequisites for the creation of the Piano сoncerto on Arab themes.
