Rubtsova Chamber vocal music is a vast but not fully explored area of A.T. Grechaninov’s work. The period of his creative maturity coincided with the Silver Age – a time that brought many changes to the cultural life of the country. The new literary trends that arose during this period had a significant impact on all areas of art, including music. The article considers the relationship between words and music in some romances by A.T. Grechaninov, written on the basis of poems by poets belonging to different literary movements, analyzes of poetic and musical texts are given. Keywords: A.T.
