«She Sang Over All the Continents Except Antarctica, of Course» Nina Evgenievna Vysotina |
V.I. Moiseeva
The article is devoted to a talented, unfairly forgotten singer of the past, whose name is Nina Vysotina. The singer of Russian songs lived a worthy interesting, creative life, having managed to realize her high purpose in music, in folk song. She had an incredibly beautiful timbre of voice, a wide range, and most importantly, sincerity and naturalness in the performance of her songs, listening to which cannot leave anyone indifferent. She sang on the best stages and in the best halls of the USSR, Russia and abroad. Nina Evgenievna carried love, purity, faith to folk song and musical art through her entire creative path, and is an example for modern Russian folk music performers who should certainly know about her.
