Music and Time Annotation << Back Outstanding Maestro of Bayan Art M.I. Imkhanitskii The article is devoted to the disclosure of the creative image of the outstanding fatherly accordion player, teacher, composer, tireless musical and public figure Vyacheslav Anatolyevich Semenov. Being a People’s Artist of Russia, a professor at the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music, a laureate of international competitions, for several decades a generally recognized leader in professional performance and pedagogy in the field of bayan and accordion art, this musician has managed to brilliantly prove himself in many areas of art. He wrote a large number of musical pieces for the of bayan and accordion, which were included in the programs of the world’s largest bayanists and accordionists, created wonderful methodological works that are used at all stages of professional training, and has trained more than a hundred laureates of the most prestigious international competitions. Therefore, in this article, special attention is focused on the pedagogical and performing principles of this wonderful musician.
