Music and Time Annotation << Back "Shemsi-gemer" peshrov I.G. Israfilova The main object of research in this article is one of the valuable and interesting examples of the Shirvan Ashig art of Azerbaijan, peshras (introductory construction) "Shemsi-gemer". Here is given a brief information about the peshra genre itself, as well as a deep analysis of its musical notation obtained during a scientific ethnomusicological expedition conducted in Shamakhi with the direct participation of the author.
