In this article, the author has analyzed and identified the most relevant digital technologies used in the space of a modern museum. It has been determined that the digital transformation of modern museums is implemented through the introduction of augmented (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies, projections, interactive panels, 3D printing and scanning, multimedia technologies and effects, volumetric objects, etc. It has been proved that all these technologies are used to revive museum reality, actively involve visitors to various kinds of exhibitions through direct interaction, direct collaboration of recipients with objects of art, and the acquisition of unique impressions, emotions and knowledge by visitors.
