Music and Time Annotation << Back Brass – quintet. Some historical notes to history of formation and development of a genre brass-quintet O.I. Abramov Article investigates history of emergence of a genre a breast stroke quintet. In a basis of a research the historical and ontologic approach connected with gradual formation of designs and formation of technical and expressive opportunities of wind instruments is put. Ensemble performance on brass wind instruments is considered during the periods since the Middle Ages and up to now. The secular and household cultural and historical layers put in a basis of emergence of a genre "bress-quintet" are considered. And also a tool genre – a concert for the soloist or soloists also had an impact on origin of a genre. Works of the composers who played a huge role in development of chamber and tool culture are affected. Two historic figures who it is considered to be founders of a genre a breast stroke quintet J. Bellona and W. Ewald are also presented. The importance the Brass-quintets stepping a narrow framework of only one national school in the investigation of what is emphasized there were competitions Brass-quintets, there are master classes and the master – the courses devoted to multiple aspects of playing music in a brass ensemble.
