Music and Time Annotation << Back Teaching tradition tuba art at the Russian Academy Gnesins music A.P. Kazachenkov This article discusses the content of the most important constant principles, in accordance with which the process of learning the art of playing the tuba at the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music is implemented, methodological and pedagogical principles maintained and supported by each new generation teacher, which ensure a consistently high level of professional training for Gnesins over the decades tubists. The author of the article first characterizes the general principles of the educational process in all specialties in the Gnesin educational institutions, determined by the specifics of the educational project of the Gnesins, then analyzes the methodological and pedagogical principles of the founders of the tuba art teaching tradition at the Gnesins’ RAM, characterizes the performing art of the most prominent representatives of the class in the whole history of its existence. In conclusion of the article, the author characterizes the current state of the traditions of teaching the art of playing the tuba in this university.
