Chzhen Lisha
The article documents recent activities of Chinese musicians who received training at the Moscow Conservatory in the 50–60s of the XX century. Chinese musicians of various specialties are represented: composers – Du Mingxin, Zou Lu, Zhu Jian Er; musicologists – Wu Zu Qiang, Huang Xiao He; conductors – Li De Lun, Zheng Xiao Ying; performers – Cao Cheng Yun (harp), Sheng Zhong Guo, Lin Yao Ji (violin), Sheng Ming Yao (cello), Guo Shu Zhen (vocal), Ni Hong Jin, Liu Shi Kun, Li Min Do (piano). The author of the article, being a piano teacher, interviewed and attended master classes with these pianists during 2018–2019. The article discusses the activities of Chinese musicians nowadays, more than half a century after their training at the Moscow Conservatory.
