Music and Time Annotation << Back Stylistic allusion in the music of a Saratov composer Elena Gokhman I.A. Subbotin The article deals with the stylistic allusion – a wide-spread principle of intertextual interactions in modern composition. The stylistic allusion provides a wide cultural context of the content of works of different genres, facilitates a multiple-meaning interpretation of the author’s ‘word’ and the borrowed one, reveals the ontological foundations of creativity and thought. The author’s forms of implementing the stylistic allusion are studied on the material of the vocal compositions of a Saratov composer Elena Gokhman, since they present the most characteristic principle of intertextual radiance in her oeuvre. Among them there are the genres of song, choral and madrigal, structural (mode, harmonic vertical structure) modeling of other-text, merging the author’s text and the ‘pre’-text based on the quasi-quote. The result is summed up in the main conclusion of the research: the stylistic allusion in Elena Gokhman’s music plays the meaningful function of an intertextual ‘intermediary’, expresses the author’s characteristic features of thought and style.
