The article is dedicated to Leonid Vladimirovich Nikolaev, a wonderful conductor, a graduate of the Sveshnikovsky Choir School, Moscow Conservatory, a teacher who has worked at the Moscow Conservatory for over 40 years. People's Artist of Russia, Professor; He was the artistic director and chief conductor of the symphony orchestras of students at the Moscow Conservatory, the Symphony Orchestra of the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, the Youth Symphony Orchestra, and the chamber orchestra of
the P. Slobodkin Center. Nikolaev was repeatedly invited to record a large number of major musical works in Russia, Central Europe, and Germany. His recordings include works by Weber, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Berlioz, Shostakovich, R. Strauss, Rossini, Khachaturian, Prokofiev. Nikolaev a lot of recordings on the radio, making entries in the fund. Among the recorded: operas – "Chapaev" by Kholminov, “Young Guard” by Matus, operetta "Maritsa", opera "Secret Marriage" by Cimarosa, "Pagliacci" by Leoncavallo, and others.
