Music and Time Annotation << Back About the problem of realization of comic topics and images in operettas of Azerbaijan composers K.I. Ahmadova The article examines the application of the continuation of U. Hajibayli traditions in some musical comedies of composers such as Suleyman Alasgarov, Vasif Adigozalov, Azer Rzayev, Rauf Hajiyev. All the rich spectrum of methods of comism met in U. Hajibeyli’s works were mastered and continued by artists representing the next generations of Azerbaijani composers. Of course, the new challenges imposed by the era when other composers lived and worked and other actual issues related to the development of society have included innovations in the comic subject and image circle. The use of musical subjects and expressions of music in the national composer’s creativity is mainly based on the methods developed by U.Hajibeyli. At the same time, we can see that Azerbaijani artists use these modern methods of the world schools in various ways in their works. These techniques have been applied in the style and trends included in the national composer’s creativity and enriched by styles of popular and jazz music.
