Music and Time Annotation << Back Creative Works by Vladimir Orlov E.S. Drynkina The article is devoted to the works of the modern Saratov composer Vladimir V. Orlov, Ph.D. The author analyzes the different areas of the musician's activity (composing, research, teaching, organizational work, etc.). The paper deals with Orlov’s compositions, created in different genres and in different time periods (“Five Beautiful Pieces” for viola and piano (op. 79), “Tishism” for viola and piano (op.63), Relaxation - 3 for violin and piano (op.46), "The car flow on the suburban route" for violin, guitar and piano four hands (op.55), Children's miniatures (op. 18, 74-76), "Pleasant surprises" for a string orchestra (or.51), "If Joseph Haydn met with Elvis Presley" for violin, double bass and piano four hands (op.65). Orlov’s music style is analyzed by identifying the fundamental figurative spheres and thematic lines. The article also describes the activities of the Saratov art group "Theater of New Music", which is headed by Vladimir Orlov.
