Music and Time Annotation << Back The tasks of the conductor in planning and conducting rehearsals and concert performances M.A. Konarev The author consistently examines the problems and tasks faced by the young conductor during rehearsals and concerts. It is especially important that M.A. Konarev proposes a itemized, detailed plan-scheme for preparing the conductor for rehearsal, taking into account various aspects of working with orchestra students, contributing to an increase in the efficiency of the process of preparing a novice conductor for a concert performance. The conductor training plan can be divided into three stages: The tasks of the conductor "Before Rehearsal" include 3 sections: 1. preparation of musical material (concept development, possible difficulties in performance, etc.); 2. organizational issues; 3. adjusting the plan before each rehearsal. The tasks of the conductor "At rehearsals" include the per-minute proposed work plan, divided into general wishes for all rehearsals, and specifically for the first, general and rehearsals between them. The tasks of the conductor "At the concert performance" provide recommendations for the conduct of the conductor before and during the performance of the rehearsed program with the orchestra. During such preparation, as a rule, the conductor, being in time trouble, should transfer many tasks to "automatic" execution, literally deleting tasks that have already been completed from the plan, thereby reducing the workload and mental energy costs without losing overall control.
