Rufat Ramazanov. For Viola Solo "Deduction" |
E.M. Najafov
The article analyzes the modern Azerbaijani composer Rufat Ramazanov’s work for viola solo "Deduction". The author reveals the historically continuity of three composer generations: K. Karayev – H. Mirzazadeh – R. Ramazanov and features characteristic to their intellectual lyrics creative style. The work of R. Ramazanov "Deduction" for viola solo is a vivid example of this creative direction and is a laconic two-part construction: the first part consists of four contrasting episodes (ABC-D), and the second is their repetition. Episode A is the leading point, it essentially plays the role of the intellectual beginning in the composition, its invocatory, dissonant character represents the image of the born musical idea. The brightest contrast is embodied in episode D, which is distinguished by its lyrical content. Contradistinction of these two contrasting episodes allows us to speak about the intellectuallyrical character of the composition.
