Music and Time Annotation << Back From the Life of Metamorphosis: Ovid – F. Kafka – B. Britten D.S. Sapelnikov, Y.V. Kosareva, M.A. Heinz The article is aimed at the gradual introduction of a comprehensive approach to the study of the musical work in the field of teaching methods of playing the wind instruments in Russia. Its introduction in the form of a norm in mass pedagogical practice in the long term will contribute to a qualitative increase in the performance of wind instruments in the country and help to strengthen the positions of the national school in the world arena. Choosing the format of the essay, the authors put the following tasks: – to acquaint the student of a modern university with separate subjects relevant to the world of art, themes and phenomena revealed in the analysis of B. Britten's play «Pan playing the flute» from the cycle «Six Metamorphoses for Ovid» for the oboe`s oboe, thus indicating the depth and versatility of any musical work of any great composer; – to offer the musician-performer a ready-made solution to the applied problem, presenting the results of a detailed analysis of the play «Pan playing the flute» from the cycle «Six Metamorphoses for Ovid,» which belongs to the little-studied part of the repertoire for wind instruments in Russian musicology.
