Music and Time Annotation << Back New Horizons of Art Studies N.Yu. Kireyeva This article is devoted to the study of the leading principles of creativity and pedagogical art of the Doctor of Arts, Professor Alexander Ivanovich Demchenko. A.I. Demchenko is recognized as one of the leading art historians of the country, for many years of research he has managed to comprehend the vast layers of artistic culture of virtually all countries and peoples. The range of his scientific interests is truly immense, as is the vast array of artifacts in the sphere of his attention. In addition to the broadest range of works on the musical art of different epochs and national schools, its main efforts for the last three decades are aimed at mastering the world artistic culture, considered to the maximum extent and with the ascent from regional specificities and local features to identify common, main trends in the development of the world artistic process, taken in its international coverage. A universal view of art history is also projected on the system of musical education, which, under the conditions of modern reform, which is in the mainstream of the Bologna Process, is implemented using the intertextual approach. The author is convinced that the qualitative application of new approaches will make it possible to overcome the information disunity existing in educational institutions between musical-historical and musical-theoretical, as well as general humanities disciplines, which are conducted outside of communication. Thus, all this is laid the basis for a new scientific trend – universal or universal art history, which is turned to the study of the world artistic process in an exhaustive fullness, with a system-synchronous consideration of all types of art.
