Protuberance of Klaus Huber as a Musical Allegory of the Fate of Modern Civilization |
D.A. Kitsenko
Article is devoted to the work of the Swiss composer Klaus Huber "Protuberance" ("Protuberanzen"). It made an attempt to understanding the surprising ideological paradox of this work, which is based on the simultaneous action of three allegorical codes: cosmogonic, social, ethical and eschatological. Their combination determines the unusualness of the emerging compositional structure of the opus, encompassing a whole complex of acute ethical, socio-cultural and spiritual problems of modern society.
Keywords: Klaus Huber, Protuberance, canonical technique, time grids, modern music, polycomposition.
