Music and Time Annotation << Back The Triumph of Modern Music: «MolOt-Festival» in Astrakhan V.O. Petrov The article is devoted to the International scientific and practical conference "Music science and composer creativity in the modern world" that took place on May 13–14, 2017 in Astrakhan. Leading musicologists and experts in the field of art history of Russia and abroad took part in its work. The subject of reports, master classes that took place in the framework of the conference is presented. It is noted that the problems of modern music were the main reference point for all scientists who took part in the conference. The fact of the opening in Astrakhan of the Youth Department of the Union of Composers of Russia, headed by Yaroslav Sudzilovsky, is especially stated.
