Music and Time Annotation << Back «Sonata for Kabardinian Harmonic» by Dzhabrail Haupa M.M. Sherieva, I.V. Nesterenko Music for national harmonic is one of the youngest spheres of composing. The development of national harmonic as a concert academic instrument began during the second half of ХХ century and is continued today. The transformation of harmonic’s functions from the initially domestic instrument into the professional one, the including it into the system of musical education led to creating by Kabardino-Balkarian composers some interesting works for harmonic. The author of the article discusses some special features of «Sonata for Kabardinian Harmonic» by Dzhabrail Haupa. Sonata is the first opus for harmonic in this genre. In this work the composer managed to combine «the national intonation» and the philosophic depth, presenting harmonic fa a unique chamberacademic instrument.
