Music and Time Annotation << Back Chamber Vocal art on the Turn of Centuries (XIX–XX): Artistic Principles and Feature Creative Activities of M.A. Olenina-d’Algeym K.I. Margunova The article highlights the work of the chamber singer end of the XIX – the beginning of XX centuries, outstanding creative personality M.A .Olenina-d’Algeym. It emphasized the uniqueness of its executive concept, which gave rise to a new type of singer – interpreter, able to actively transform the cultural space, influence the social environment and significantly adjust the usual understanding of the singing profession. The author describes the creative image of the singer – a thinker, her creative quest in the work of directing the concert programs, focuses on the deep-intellectual and spiritual singer’s approach to building each concert program Highlighting the various activities M.A. Olenina-d’Algeym author attaches special importance to the theoretical aspects of the singer’s activities concluded in the documents, memoirs and letters, addressed especially to young performers, which was the actual testament to future performers of chamber and vocal arts as a special kind of art, where the singer-interpreter creates an atmosphere spiritual unity of the performer and the audience. Paying tribute to the value of the outstanding performers of chamber – vocal art of the XX century, the author focuses on the issue of decent existence in its contemporary cultural life of the community.
