Vinichenko The purpose of this article is to trace and analyze direct and indirect communication English folk poetry collections «Rhymes Mother Goose» with some properties of art works by prominent representatives of the rock culture; to identify the common artistic aspects of texts «Genesis» (the album «Nursery Cryme»), «Pink Floyd» (album «The Piper at the Gates of Down»), V. Butusov (album «Ovals»), the prose of John Lennon (from books «Spainard in the Works», «Skywriting by Word of Mouth») and fragments of poetry «Rhymes Mother Goose»; make the conclusion about the presence in English rock culture fabulously mythological aspect and nonlinear nature of inner kinship rock poetry and texts «Rhymes Mother Goose», often non-verbal and lies in the generality of the abstract-mystic images and characters.
