Music and Time Annotation << Back Etudes-tableaux Rachmaninov: the Program Concept, the Semantics of Signs T.Yu. Maslova The article deals with problems of interpretation of «Etudes-tableaux» oр. 33 and op. 39 Rachmaninov in the light of the method of conceptual integration. In the initial section sets out the views of Rachmaninov questions relations programs and concepts in musical performance, analyzes its principles and approaches to the interpretation of music. In the theoretical part of the article presents a historical overview of the development of scientific thought about the concept of interpretation, the author's attention is focused on the method of incorporating the vision based on five types of differentiation perception of the text (acoustic, visual, sensory, tactile, intertext, mental). In the main part of the article the author offers options for making the conceptual «Etudestableaux » based on the analysis of the semantic nature of iconic associations performed music. Examples are selected only those «Etudes-tableaux» of which it is in the letter Rachmaninov O. Respighi, have expressed their desire to orchestrate a «sea gulls» Ор. 39 number 2; «Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf» Ор. 39 number 6; «Trade fair scene» Ор. 33 number 7; «Eastern March» Op. 39 number 9; «Funeral March» Op. 39 number 7. The emphasis in the interpretation of the genre «Etudes-tableaux» put on his brightest theater and visual associations.
