Music and Time Annotation << Back From the History of Formation of Compositor School in Kabardino-Balkaria A.S. Mishaeva The article examines the first stage in the process of formation of compositor school in Kabardino-Balkaria. The author ascertains the similar «script» of the named process in all outlying regions of the Soviet Union – the role and significance of Russian composers sent from Moscow and Saint-Petersburg. They helped in autonomous republics and regions to give birth to first sprouts of cultural infrastructure, to build the foundation of future regional compositor schools. On the ground of folk songs and instrumental tunes first professional music appeared, adapted to the strict limits of professional music genres. The basis for the creative union in the republic was grounded by Arseniy Avraаmov and Truvor Sheibler, who were living for long time in the space of specific ethnic culture of kabardians and balkarians and thus managed to interlace rhythmic and intonation archetypes in the professional music of different genres. Later on a considerable tribute in the development of national compositor school was made by S. Ryausov, A Mosolov, N. Myaskovsky, S. Prokofiev, V. Muradely and others, who using ethnic tunes and dance mellows composed choral works, romances, symphonies, quartets.
