Music and Time Annotation << Back Post-Modern Practice: Some of the Composer’s Creative Tendencies N.S. Gulyanitsky In the article N.S. Gulyanitsky «Post-modern practice: some of the composer’s creative tendencies» tasked to give a panoramic view of contemporary musical practices. On a material of Russian composers academic music made an attempt to group musical works merging certain creative settings; are summarized the ideas of a number of creative communities. «Actual Music», representing the works of composers of different generations in the form of word and music, interpretation and performance (project radio «Orpheus»: Levon Hakobyan). Association of the Union of Composers Russia – «Bridge» – declares the Manifesto principles of beauty and humanity, positive emotions and ethical function. V. Martynov talk about «Moscow Music postkontseptualizm » (V. Martynov, A. Batagov, P. Karmanov, S. Zagniy, A. Aygi and G. Peletsis) as «certain prevailing direction», which rejected the principles of avant-garde and post-conceptual marked commitment to the tone and simplicity. Marked change in orientation of the program – from monologic principle to dialogue with opponents to the project «Musical Ark». There is a group of composers, workers in the fi eld of sacred music – liturgical and not liturgical. Draws attention to the work of many contemporary composers, developing sacred subjects. Among them, Metropolitan Hilarion (Alpheus) K. Volkov, G. Dmitrov, W. Dougan, V. Kikta, V. Polevaya, V. Ulyanich, A. Mikita, V. Sariev A. Manotskov etc., have been writing in different genres. Presented by TPO «Composer» – «Creative and Production Association Composer» – which is characterized as a «long-term strategy». Announced that «in the creations the collective techniques», and that «his style defi nes the union as a "classic"». Indicated a further series of characteristic phenomena of time.
