Music and Time Annotation << Back History of the Moscow School of Oboe Playing Formation: Ivan Fedorovich Pushechnikov – the First Teacher of Wind Instruments Department in the State musical-pedagogical college (Russian Gnesin’s Academy of Music) L.V. Kondakov, L.D. Belenov Article is devoted to life and creativity of Ivan Fedorovich Pushechnikov – academician, professor, head of the wind instruments department of the State musical-pedagogical college (Russian Gnesin’s Academy of Music). Pushechnikov made an essential contribution to development of domestic school of playing on wind instruments. It trained some tens quality experts, more than 100 winners of the international and All-Russian competitions. I.F. Pushechnikov – the author about 100 methodical works, among them «School of playing an oboe», «School of playing an recorder», «The alphabet for the recorder performers», «The anthology of pedagogical repertoire for oboe», 9 notebooks of etudes various degree of difficulty. It possesses numerous transpositions, processings, arrangements for an oboe with a piano, and also original compositions for oboe, chamber ensembles. I.F. Pushechnikov gained high recognition as the performer, the teacher, the composer and the public figure not only in our country, but also is far beyond its limits. He was invited repeatedly as the chairman and the judge of the most prestigious All-Russian and international competitions of performers on wind instruments. It regularly left abroad for holding master classes and participation in seminars, symposiums. Ivan Fedorovich was the honorary member of the World musical society «Double reed». Keywords: I.V.
