Music and Time Annotation << Back On the Eve of the Anniversary M. Novikova The paper deals with Vyacheslav Artyemov’s anniversary, his creation, as well as performing the fate of the composer’s works. It reveals the features of style individuality of the author accompanied by continuous self-improvement. Formation of individual author’s style master was carried out by the constant change of interests. His «musical revolution» was carried out with the support of the Russian poet Valerie Lubezki. However, by rejecting all the music that leads him away from spirituality, and the experiment for the sake of the experiment did not find a place in the aesthetics of his work. The main component of the style of the composer, was the preservation of and loyalty to the traditions of Russian spiritual culture. The most important indicator of style Vyacheslav Artyemov was special tonal color of his writings, associated with the search for a new sound environment. Another side of the creative process Artyemov, is connected with the gradual aging of a particular compositional idea, its gradual formation, which sometimes stretched not for another decade. Feature of a number of works Artyemov becomes his attraction to the genre Hommage, to which the composer refers repeatedly, giving it inherent in the idea of a special depth.
