Music and Time Annotation << Back V. Andreev: the Artistic Directions of Musician I. Tyutin The article is dedicated to Vasily Andreev, a musician – innovator, pedagogue, composer, conductor and public figure in the second half of XIX − beginning of XX century. On the basis of archive historical documents, musician’s private letters, his contemporary’s recollections and periodical publications is describes the main art projects, it gives the facts that influenced of his artistic methods. Particular attention is paid to the process of formation V. Andreev Russian folk Orchestra. The data about history of creation of collective, development stages and the basic directions of creativity is presented. The article discusses the some features of individual composer’s style. The musical pieces in dancing genres of Vasily Andreev’s are set as an example of picturesque images and original performer’s question. The creative activity of V. Andreev as a founder of domestic balalaika school is promoted to the assist folk – instrument’s art in system of the state musical education.
