Music and Time Annotation << Back Identification Value of Elements Decor and Ornament Musical Instruments of Circassians (Adyghe) A. Gucheva In recent years sharply interest to research and development of national traditions of a national instrumentalism and song art of unwritten tradition of аdyghe (Circassians) increased. Life of modern society is characterized by the increasing inclination of its wide layers to knowledge and judgment of the samples which have reached so far of culture and art. It especially concerns music as most important area of creative activity of the person. Occurring changes in sociocultural reality of the modern world, impacts often possessing negative character on mass consciousness, outlook and esthetic miro-vision of younger generation, demand development of any effective mechanisms of preservation of ethnocultural values. This problem proceeds from the policy of a globalism erasing sides and distinctions between cultures, seeking to turn all cultural and historical variety of the world into the depersonalized emptiness. It concerns also the аdyghe culture experiencing at a present historical stage system crisis and a deconstruction. Under these conditions, relevance is the problem of the development of traditional musical culture Adygs, taking a significant place in the common cultural heritage, which is a monument of culture. Traditional musical tools – «monuments of material musical culture» and the related household traditions represent an integral part of culture of the people. From here becomes clear why researches on material and spiritual culture of аdyghe enters one of the priority directions of the аdyghe etnomuzykologiya. In article the musical instruments of ancestors reflected in the аdyghe nartsky epos are considered, and also manufacturing techniques of the first musical instruments of аdyghe and specifics of origin of performing tradition are partially reflected.
